NAMEWOVEN · PROJECT & POLICIES

Terms of use

These terms describe responsible use of the current local edition. They distinguish your creative work, the website’s own material and third-party sources. A generated name is not an exclusive or legally cleared identity.

Current local edition

1. Edition, operator and related documents

These terms concern the current Namewoven tools and explanatory pages, operated by Victorica at namewoven.com. Contact: victoricanave@gmail.com. The operator’s address is listed below and on the Contact page. These details do not by themselves designate a governing law or court.

Read the Privacy policy for data handling, tool notes for output scope and source notices for third-party material. A future account, public service, purchase or hosted feature needs real operator details and material conditions before use. Trying this edition does not create a future paid contract.

2. What the service provides

Namewoven provides creative naming candidates and task-specific planning, checking, comparison and guidance. Some tools create combinations; others audit supplied ledgers or show a proof. Follow the relevant instructions rather than treating every output as the same kind of recommendation.

Basic results require no registration, payment or advertising interaction in this build. There is no subscription, checkout, automatic renewal or paid AI service connected. These terms create no fee, and tools request no billing credentials.

The final development target is 200 independent tools, not a representation that they all exist now. Language variants, candidates and prototypes are not extra finished tools. Overlapping features may be merged and defects repaired as development continues.

3. Your inputs and unpublished work

You retain whatever rights you hold in your inputs. Ordinary use does not assign your manuscript, characters, pen name, recordings or notes to Namewoven. Enter only material you are entitled to process and share, including any appropriate contributor or participant permissions.

Current worksheets run locally and do not provide public manuscript hosting or model training on imported files. This does not grant permission to process somebody else’s material or create a confidentiality agreement covering external devices, recipients or services. Data-handling limits are explained in Privacy.

Keep your own backups. Project files can contain hidden identities, future events, response tokens and private editorial data. You decide which recipient may see a file; a tool cannot infer that every collaborator should know everything the author knows.

4. Names and other creative outputs

You may consider, edit and use ordinary generated name suggestions in creative work without a website-imposed credit requirement for the name alone. This concerns rights the project can grant in its own original generation material. It does not grant another person’s rights, transfer a source database licence, or decide whether a short name is legally protectable in your location.

Different users can receive identical or similar results. A name may already be used by a person, author, character, product or organization. Deduplication within a batch or local favorites covers only that comparison set; it is not a global search, priority record or reservation.

Before public or commercial use, make the checks appropriate to the actual use and audience. Existing works, real persons, trademark conflicts, platform restrictions and cultural context may matter. A tool’s explicitly described scoped check is not general legal clearance, and silence in an output does not establish availability.

5. Source data and separate licences

Imported statistics and dictionary records coexist with original fictional data. Manifests and notices identify sources, versions, processing and recorded licence conditions. These terms and the original interface do not override a third-party source’s separate conditions.

EDRDG-derived JMnedict material retains its recorded Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 notices. SSA and Census data have their own provenance and usage information. Reusing dictionary excerpts or redistributing an adapted source database is different from choosing a fictional name. Preserve applicable source attribution and licence information when sharing source material.

A licence is not a suitability certificate or assurance against every third-party right. The website distinguishes source readings and evidence from creative associations. If reuse requires a legal conclusion, assess the actual material, licence and proposed use rather than relying on a generalized statement here.

6. Guides, software and project identity

The site includes original articles, fictional scenes, interface wording, rules and software. Using a generated name is not blanket permission to republish every guide, clone the branding or remove notices. A separately distributed code or data licence governs its component; this page does not imply a blanket open-source licence.

You may link to pages and keep normal project records. Quotations should accurately identify context and respect permissions or exceptions that actually apply. Do not present an original fictional scene as a real testimonial or imply that Namewoven endorsed your completed work.

The name and presentation identify this project. The page does not assert completed trademark registration or authorize impersonating the operator. Ordinary references and links should not falsely suggest sponsorship or affiliation.

7. Appropriate use and service integrity

Use tools for lawful creative and editorial purposes. Do not use them to impersonate a real person, fabricate identity or consent, harass someone, expose private information, distribute material without the necessary rights, or pass off an invented cultural interpretation as established fact.

Do not obtain another user’s data, bypass security restrictions, inject executable content or disrupt a deployment. Authorized inspection of local source is different from attacking a service or another person’s device. Relevant code permissions still apply.

There is no current public gallery or community upload service. A local import is not publication. Future community functions would need actual submission permissions, moderation rules, removal processes and controls; those are not inferred from these tool-use terms.

8. Evidence and method limits

Scores and similarity measures are disclosed heuristics within a stated scope, not objective beauty, comprehension, pronunciation, authenticity or a legally valid identity. A conflict or incomplete search does not establish that every way of writing the story will fail.

Invented conventions and scenes are labelled fiction. A literary reference supports its particular discussion, not a generated name’s existence or etymology. Statistical presence alone does not prove a name fits a background. Keep exact spellings, supplied readings and imaginative associations distinct.

Development and editorial work use AI assistance. Tests, synthetic fixtures and browser checks are not a human expert’s signature, a social study, universal accessibility certification or native-language approval. Do not describe a result as independently certified without supporting evidence.

9. Availability, updates and backups

Tools, snapshots and formats can change. Saved files may need a compatible version, and a source-version mismatch may stop reproduction rather than silently use different data. Retain the parameters, source versions and results needed for your production.

Local storage is not guaranteed backup storage. Browsers can restrict or remove it, private sessions end and a changed origin has a separate store. Export important work and protect the files. There is no current account copy the operator can restore.

This edition promises neither perpetual uptime nor every file format. If a hosted service changes or ends, its real operator must communicate material conditions through the actual service and applicable requirements. A policy update date must not conceal new processing or fees.

10. Reliance and mandatory protections

Use results as creative assistance. The project does not guarantee exclusive names, ownership, trademark registration, domain availability, rankings, AI citation, advertising acceptance, publication or revenue. External sources and destinations can change independently.

Verify important outputs in their real context. A proof in one font does not certify every print process. A playback event does not prove attention. An identity ledger does not establish a real identity or a contributor’s legal consent. Each tool’s scope matters when interpreting its output.

Nothing here is intended to remove a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow an operator to exclude. No invented liability cap, mandatory arbitration, blanket indemnity, chosen court or governing-law clause is imposed before the operator and service context are known. Production terms need review for the actual audience and operator.

11. Corrections and rights concerns

Identify the page, language, behavior or passage, a minimal example, and any relevant source or right. Redact private manuscripts and unrelated personal details. Factual corrections should be verifiable; rights concerns should identify the material and concern without unnecessary sensitive documents.

Send correction, rights and complaint concerns to Victorica at victoricanave@gmail.com, using the Contact page details. Include the affected page and supporting information. No specific investigation outcome, jurisdiction-specific takedown procedure or response deadline is promised here.

Use the Privacy policy’s controls for local copies. Removing a favorite or clearing storage cannot retract a shared file. Where another service holds a copy, use its actual procedures.

12. Languages and changes

English and Japanese aim to explain the same scope. Neither is automatically a certified legal translation. If they disagree, record the discrepancy rather than treating an omission as permission to ignore a boundary. This edition imposes no arbitrary language-precedence rule.

Expanded 1 November 2026. The 200-tool final scope retains complete bilingual guidance and a final duplication review. Operator details, hosting and any future account, payment, advertising or API features must be reflected in a concrete new version before launch. These terms do not substitute for those unfinished facts.

13. Collaboration, attribution and production decisions

Agree separately with coauthors, artists, performers and translators about credit, approval and changes to their work. A credit-governance tool can track the records you enter; it cannot establish that every affected person saw or accepted them. An exported approval state is not a signed agreement, a release or a substitute for resolving a contributor dispute.

Maintain a stable identity record when you revise a name across a production. A replacement suggestion or dialogue fixture covers only the fields and occurrences the tool actually checks. It does not warrant that a manuscript, subtitle file, artwork, voice recording, localization package or promotional page has been updated everywhere. Review the real production assets and keep the old-to-new mapping needed by your collaborators.

Ordinary creative use includes considering a suggestion for commercial fiction, subject to the rights and source limits already described. Using Namewoven does not make the project a coauthor, agent, publisher or rights-clearance service, and creates no claim to a share of your creative revenue. Separate permissions may still be required for material incorporated from outside sources.

14. Defects, compatibility and changes to these terms

If a tool appears to violate its stated rules, retain a minimal fixture, relevant parameters, source version and the observed output before changing the project. Stop relying on the affected check until you understand its scope. A fixed bug may change previous results; reproducing the same output is not a reason to preserve a known error.

If a control is inaccessible or a storage or download operation fails, use a workable alternative where available and preserve your existing files. These terms do not represent an error message as successful delivery. No fixed support response time, service-level agreement or paid remedy is offered in this local edition, which has no functioning public support channel yet.

A new policy version should identify material changes, especially a new recipient, paid feature, data flow or restriction. Merely publishing a longer page does not authorize undisclosed processing, impose a retroactive fee or remove mandatory protections. Before a future paid feature starts, its actual price, billing conditions, cancellation and applicable refund information must be stated; none is invented for the free local tools.

15. Studio use, authority and separate agreements

If you use the tools for a studio, publisher, school or client, confirm that you have authority to handle the material in that setting. These pages do not give you permission to disclose a client manuscript, bind a coauthor to a credit decision or bypass your organization’s security rules. A local technical capability is not authorization from the rights holder.

The free local workbench includes no enterprise confidentiality undertaking, data-processing agreement, procurement commitment or delegated approval authority. A separate signed agreement, if one is later made by the real operator, must state its own scope. Do not infer organizational approval, a service warranty or a negotiated licence from an exported worksheet or a tool-generated status.

16. Batch operation, automation and resource limits

Batch controls support the displayed task within its documented limits. A count limit, bounded search or validation cap protects the workflow from excessive work; reaching it is not proof that no valid name or arrangement exists. Do not report a partial result as an exhaustive search. Preserve warnings and source information when passing an output into another system.

No public API, unlimited processing quota or hosted bulk-export service is promised. Repeated automated access to a future deployment must respect its actual published access rules and avoid disrupting other users. Redistributing an imported dictionary or adapted source files is governed by the applicable source conditions, separately from ordinary use of name suggestions.

17. External destinations and downstream publishing

An external source link lets you inspect relevant evidence. It is not an endorsement of every statement, policy or service at that destination. External content, availability and conditions can change. A source citation does not imply a partnership, sponsorship or permission to reuse unrelated material from that site.

A publisher, game platform, retailer or registration service can impose its own naming, credit and submission rules. A local result does not bind that organization or guarantee acceptance. Check the conditions that apply to your actual release, including the way you display a pen name or credit collaborators. Namewoven does not submit or register a name on your behalf.

18. Ending use and resolving uncertainty

You can stop using the current local tools without cancelling an account or subscription, because neither exists here. Export wanted work before clearing browser data. Ending use does not automatically delete local files, third-party copies or source notices attached to redistributed material. Duties arising from a separate agreement or applicable law are not settled by closing a tab.

If a term, translation or tool explanation is unclear, email Victorica at victoricanave@gmail.com with the wording and the concrete decision it affects. Do not treat ambiguity as verified permission or a successful rights check. This statement does not designate a binding court or arbitration service or promise a complaint outcome.
